A classic British tea, founded in 1903, Typhoo is a black tea which is a blend of leaves from Kenya, Assan and Ceylon. It was originally named 'Typhoo' as this is the Chinese word for 'doctor', as the tea was originally marketed as an aid for digestion and stomach issues. It is described as a refreshing, smooth tea, less acidic and bitter than other black teas. It can be enjoyed any time of day.
